Kampus seluas 642 ekar ini boleh menampung sehingga 10,000 orang pelajar dan 2,000 orang staf.

Formerly known as the Centre for Preparatory Studies or Pusat Pendidikan Persediaan (PPP), the college is one of the pioneers of international education in Malaysia. However, the national economic downturn in 1997 allowed only the concentration of preparatory programmes for the United States and Germany. In the year 2000, the college changed its name to Overseas Preparatory Programme (OPP) or Program Persediaan Luar Negeri (PPLN). In 2001, it became known as the International Education Centre (INTEC) and finally in 2010 to International Education College (INTEC). These changes have reflected on its vision in promoting international education.

INTEC now offers overseas preparatory programmes that include American Degree Foundation Programme (ADFP), American Credit Transfer Programme (ACTP), A-Level, A-Level German (ALG), Australian Matriculation Programme (AUSMAT), Look-East Policy Japan Programme, Look-East Policy Korean Programme, INTEC Foundation Studies: France and INTEC Foundation Studies: Middle-East. Besides the aforementioned programmes, INTEC also offers Apprentice Programme in Professional Business Accounting (APPBA)

Many changes have taken place since Percetakan Nasional Malaysia Berhad’s (PNMB) beginnings in 1888. It was incorporated in 1993, becoming wholly owned by the Ministry of Finance. Nevertheless, throughout the changes our principle remains; to deliver the best as we move forward.

Sejarah Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia (JPJ)

Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ) telah ditubuhkan pada tahun 1937, di bawah Enakmen Lalulintas 1937. Undang-undang tentera British di Negeri-negeri Melayu Bersekutu. Pentadbirannya pada ketika itu dikenali sebagai Lembaga Pengangkutan Jalan yang berfungsi mengawal dan melesenkan perusahaan awam. Dengan wujudnya pentadbiran Tanah Melayu pada April 1946, kuasa lembaga tersebut telah diambil alih oleh Pejabat Pendaftar dan Pemeriksaan Kereta-kereta Motor yang merangkumi seluruh Tanah Melayu.

Sebelum 1937, pengawalan kereta motor adalah di bawah 4 negeri Melayu Bersekutu iaitu di Bawah Polis Perak dan Selangor, Ketua Inspektor Negeri Sembilan dan 6 Pegawai Daerah di Pahang. Pengawalan tidak berkuatkuasa di Negeri Melayu Tidak Bersekutu. Selain dari 4 buah negeri mengenai kenderaan bermotor sehinggalah Enakmen Lalulintas 1937 diluluskan.

Selaras dengan pembukaan jabatan tersebut, satu undang-undang jalan raya yang dinamakan Ordinan Lalulintas Jalan 1953, telah diluluskan mengantikan Enakmen Lalulintas 1937 itu. Memandangkan pentingnya tugas-tugas untuk menguatkuasakan undang-undang tersebut khasnya terhadap kenderaan perdagangan, maka Bahagian Penguatkuasaaan telah diwujudkan dan menjalankan fungsi penguatkuasaan tersebut.

Pada 1 April 1946, Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan telah ditubuhkan yang bertujuan menyelaras segala aspek berkaitan pengangkutan bagi seluruh negeri. Sehubungan dengan penubuhan jabatan ini, pelbagai akta berkaitan Pengangkutan Jalan telah digubal seperti Ordinan Lalulintas Jalan tahun 1958 dan Akta Pengangkutan Jalan 1987. Ini bertujuan bagi menyeragamkan undang-undang pengangkutan negara di samping menjadi landasan kepada JPJ melaksanakan tanggungjawabnya. Ekoran wujudnya kemajuan dalam sistem pengangkutan negara yang ketara pada tahun 1980, JPJ kian terbeban dengan pelbagai tanggungjawab dalam meningkat mutu perkhidmatannya. Selaras dengan itu, penyusunan semula struktur dalaman jabatan telah dilakukan bagi meningkatkan kecekapan agar bersesuaian dengan keperluan dan kepentingan semasa. Akibat wujudnya kepelbagaian fungsi dalam setiap bahagian yang terdapat dalam jabatan ini, maka pelbagai inovasi telah diwujudkan bagi meningkatkan mutu kecekapan dalam perkhidmatan. Era 90 an menunjukkan kemajuan paling memberangsangkan kerana wujudnya tuntutan yang mengalakkan terhadap sistem pengangkutan.

Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia merupakan salah satu dari jabatan di bawah Bahagian Darat, Kementerian Pengangkutan Malaysia. Bertanggungjawab dalam menyediakan perkhidmatan kaunter untuk pelesenan kenderaan dan pemandu serta menguatkuasakan Akta Pengangkutan Jalan 1987 untuk memastikan pemandu yang berhemah dan kenderaan yang selamat. Selain itu, ia juga merupakan organisasi yang menyediakan perkhidmatan yang berkualiti tinggi, menguruskan pungutan hasil serta menguatkuasakan akta pengangkutan secara telus dan berkesan.

Peluang keemasan kepada belia negara untuk menjadi salah seorang warga Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia (TUDM) melalui kemasukan sebagai anggota Lain-Lain Pangkat (LLP) di dalam pelbagai bidang kepakaran dan cawangan.

Penubuhan TUDM

Sejarah Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia (TUDM) bermula apabila Ordinan Tentera Udara diluluskan oleh Parlimen pada hari Isnin, 2 Jun 1958 dan semasa ditubuhkan ia dikenali sebagai “Tentera Udara Diraja Persekutuan“.

Air Commodore A.V.R. Johnstone seorang pegawai Tentera Udara Diraja British (RAF) telah dipinjamkan untuk menjadi penasihat kepada kerajaan Persekutuan Tanah Melayu dan kemudiannya telah dilantik menjadi Ketua Turus Tentera Udara yang pertama.

Beliau bertanggungjawab merangka penubuhan Tentera Udara Diraja Persekutuan bagi negara yang baru merdeka dari segi organisasi, sumber manusia, aset dan syarat-syarat perkhidmatan. Sebagai angkatan yang termuda di dalam Angkatan Tentera ketika itu anggota terawalnya adalah terdiri daripada pegawai dan anggota yang dipinjamkan daripada Tentera Udara Diraja British.

Sekumpulan pegawai dan anggota yang menjadi perintis Tentera Udara Diraja Persekutuan telah ditukarkan daripada Tentera Udara Diraja British pada bulan November 1958. Mereka yang menjadi tenaga penggerak organisasi TUDM ialah Flying Officer Li Heng Lip, Sergeant Subramaniam, Corporal Razi Osman, Corporal Othman Mohd Ismail, Corporal Wan Said, Sorporal J D Pasley, Corporal Mahevan, Senior Aircraftsman (SAC) Surindran, SAC Md Noor, SAC Zainal Abidin, SAC Mohd Hussain dan Junior Technician (JT) Ismail Arifin.

Sebagai angkatan yang muda tugas awal yang diamanahkan kepada Tentera Udara Diraja Persekutuan pada ketika itu ialah untuk memberikan perkhidmatan perhubungan melalui udara dan membantu pasukan keselamatan menjalankan operasi memerangi komunis yang mengancam negara. Dengan tertubuhnya Malaysia pada 16 September 1963, nama Tentera Udara telah ditukar kepada “Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia” atau lebih dikenali sebagai TUDM.
