Indah Water Konsortium, a company owned by Minister of Finance Incorporated, is Malaysia's national sewerage company which has been entrusted with the task of developing and maintaining a modern and efficient sewerage system for all Malaysians.

In 1994, the Federal Government awarded the company the concession for nationwide sewerage services which prior to that, was under the responsibility of local authorities.

Since then, Indah Water has taken over the sewerage services from local authorities in all areas except the States of Kelantan, Sabah, Sarawak, Majlis Bandaraya Johor Bahru and Majlis Perbandaran Pasir Gudang. 

A modern and efficient sewerage system is vital for the country so as to ensure that wastewater is treated before being discharged into our rivers. This will help preserve the country's waste resources, protect public health and provide a cleaner and safer environment.

In June 2000, as testimony of the Government's seriousness in ensuring that a proper and efficient sewerage system will be successfully put in place and maintained, the Government, through the Minister of Finance Incorporated, took over the entire equity in Indah Water from its previous private owners.

Indah Water is now well-positioned to undertake the vital task of ensuring that Malaysians today and in the future will be able to enjoy a clean and healthy environment through a proper and well-maintained sewerage system.

 Syarat Kelayakan Bahasa Melayu :

Calon bagi lantikan hendaklah memiliki Kepujian (sekurang-kurangnya Gred C) dalam subjek Bahasa Melayu pada peringkat Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia/Sijil Vokasional Malaysia atau kelulusan yang diiktiraf setaraf dengannya oleh Kerajaan.

Selain dari gaji bulanan, calon yang berjaya dilantik akan turut dibayar elaun tetap (Jumlah/jenis elaun tetap berbeza mengikut negeri).

FUNGSI PTPTN :

Menguruskan pembiayaan untuk tujuan pendidikan tinggi dan mengutip bayaran balik pembiayaan;

1. SECRETARY



Responsibilities:

Provide full secretarial support to the Centre Head, manage the Centre’s diary and appointments;

Maintain effective filing of documentation, records, minutes, notes and correspondences;

Handle travel arrangements including accommodation, flight ticket bookings and transfer arrangements;

Provide support and assistance to the Centre Head/Senior Researchers/Researchers in managing output, workflow and deadlines;

Assist in coordinating meeting arrangements, required materials and follow up on project matters;

Liaise with other Centres especially the Administration Unit when organising conference or meeting;

Draft minutes for all meetings, memos, letters and other related documents for the Centre

Perform and relay accurate and timely messages, and respond to queries where possible; and

Undertake any other duties as directed by the Director General from time to time.


Requirements:

Posses at least a Professional Certificate or Diploma preferably in Administration, Secretarial, Office Management or any related discipline.

Preferably with at least three (3) years working experience in similar capacity.

Strong sense of confidentiality, meticulous, responsible, mature and pleasant personality.

Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English language.

Independent while being a team player.

Good computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point applications.

2005 – Pengumuman penubuhan Universiti Darul Iman Malaysia (UDM) oleh  Yang Amat Berhormat Perdana Menteri, Dato’ Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi pada 26 Mac 2005

2006 – Universiti Darul Iman Malaysia (UDM) mula beroperasi pada 1 Januari 2006

Latar Belakang Jabatan

Sebelum 15 Mac 1989, Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran (JPS) dikenali sebagai Jabatan Parit dan Taliair (JPT). Di peringkat kebangsaan, JPT telah ditubuhkan pada 1 Januari 1932 untuk melaksanakan fungsi-fungsi pengairan dan saliran yang sebelum itu dijalankan oleh Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) manakala di peringkat negeri Sarawak, tugas berkenaan masih dijalankan oleh JKR.

Pada 1 Januari 1967, Cawangan Pengairan dan Saliran, JKR Sarawak dipisahkan daripada JKR dan menjadi sebuah jabatan kerajaan yang baru. Jabatan ini dikenali sebagai JPT. Tugas utamanya pada masa itu adalah terhad kepada penyediaan kemudahan pengairan dan saliran pertanian. Diperingkat Kerajaan Negeri, JPS adalah di bawah Kementerian Kemajuan Luar Bandar Sarawak (KKLB)  manakala di peringkat Persekutuan, JPS adalah di bawah Kementerian Sumber Asli dan Alam Sekitar.

Operasi JPS merangkumi perlaksanaan projek-projekk pembangunan sumber air, khususnya dalam bidang pengairan, saliran, kejuruteraan sungai, penialian sumber air, perancangan dan rekabentuk kejuruteraan, pembinaan dan juga pengendalian serta penyelenggaraan projek-projek berkaitan dengan penggunaan air. Mulai dari tahun 1972, JPS juga terlibat di dalam bidang hidrologi dan tebatan banjir, manakala fungsi kejuruteraan pantai pula menjadi tanggungjawab JPS bermula dari tahun 1986.

The institution received an auspicious start in 1987 when it was officially opened by the late Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Alhaj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Hisamuddin Alam Shah Alhaj, the Sultan of Selangor Darul Ehsan. Within a short span of time, its student numbers outgrew the original premises, leading to the development of a new, purpose-built campus in Bandar Sunway, complete with a comprehensive range of modern academic and residential facilities.

From College to University College - Prior to becoming Sunway University, the institution was upgraded to University College status by the then Minister of Higher Education, YB Dato' Dr Shafie bin Haji Mohd Salleh to YBhg on 12 August 2004. The approval letter was presented by the Honorable Minister, to YBhg Tan Sri Dato' Seri Dr Jeffrey Cheah, AO, during the launch of the National Patriotic Day celebrations at Sunway.

Becoming a University - Sunway University College became a full-fledged University on 31 January 2011. The certificate was presented to our Founder, Chairman and Chancellor, YBhg Tan Sri Dato' Seri Dr Jeffrey Cheah, AO, by YB Dato’ Seri Mohd Khaled Nordin, the then Minister of Higher Education, Malaysia.

In 2014, we increased the amount of palm oil in our biodiesel fuel to 7 percent in compliance with the Malaysian government’s mandate.

Also in 2014, we launched the Caltex JOURNEY® Card loyalty program in partnership with BCARD. Cardholders can earn and redeem points from more than 70 BCARD merchants, at more than 3,000 outlets nationwide. The program brings additional value to fuel purchases at Caltex service stations.

Chevron also markets Delo® and Havoline® lubricants and coolants, along with other lubricating oils and greases, to consumer, commercial and industrial customers through a network of distributors.
