Sejarah DBKL

Daripada sebuah pekan kecil Kuala Lumpur telah menjadi Ibu Kota Negara dan sebuah bandar yang terbesar di Malaysia. Bandar Raya Kuala Lumpur kini menjadi penting dan menjalankan peranan dalam pelbagai bidang termasuk perniagaan, kewangan, pentadbiran, pendidikan, agama, kebudayaan dan sukan.

Hal ehwal perbandaran Kuala Lumpur ditadbirkan oleh satu perbadanan tunggal (corporation sole), sejak 1 April 1961 iaitu Pesuruhjaya Ibu Kota yang kemudian diubah kepada Datuk Bandar Kuala Lumpur apabila Kuala Lumpur dianugerahkan taraf Bandar Raya pada 1 Februari 1972.

Tan Sri Dato' Lokman Yusof bekas Pesuruhjaya Ibu Kota telah dilantik sebagai Datuk Bandar yang pertama. Beliau meninggal dunia pada 15.5.1972. Tan Sri Yaakob Latiff telah berkhidmat sebagai Datuk Bandar Kuala Lumpur yang kedua selama 10 tahun. Beliau telah digantikan oleh Datuk Bandar Kuala Lumpur yang ketiga iaitu Tan Sri Dato' Elyas Omar pada 1.2.1981.

Datuk Bandar Kuala Lumpur yang keempat ialah Dato' Dr. Mazlan Ahmad yang telah dilantik pada 17.11.1992. Tan Sri Dato’ Kamaruzzaman Shariff, Datuk Bandar Kuala Lumpur kelima, dilantik sebagai Datuk Bandar pada 14.12.1995 hingga 13.12.2001. Beliau diganti oleh Datuk Bandar Kuala Lumpur yang keenam iaitu Kol. Datuk Hj. Mohmad Shaid b. Mohd Taufek yang dilantik pada 14.12.2001. Kemudian, daripada 14.12.2004 sehinggalah 13.12.2006, jawatan Datuk Bandar yang ketujuh telah disandang oleh Dato' Hj. Ruslin bin Hj. Hasan.

Bermula dari 14.12.2006 hingga 13.12.2008, jawatan Datuk Bandar yang kelapan telah disandang oleh Datuk Seri AB Hakim bin Borhan. Beliau diganti oleh Datuk Bandar Kuala Lumpur yang kesembilan iaitu Tan Sri Ahmad Fuad bin Ismail yang dilantik pada 14.12.2008. Jawatan Datuk Bandar kesepuluh pula disandang oleh Tan Sri Hj. Ahmad Phesal bin Hj. Talib yang memulakan tugasnya pada 18.7.2012 sehingga 17.7.2015.

Bermula 18.7.2015 sehingga kini, jawatan Datuk Bandar kesebelas disandang oleh Datuk Seri Hj. Mhd. Amin Nordin bin Abdul Aziz.

The Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (SUHAKAM) was established under the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia Act 1999. SUHAKAM has the mandate and responsibility as the National Human Rights Institution, to promote awareness and protection of human rights.

1. EDITORIAL SERVICES 


Responsibilities:

Provide editorial and proofreading service for SUHAKAM’s 2016 Annual Report in Bahasa Malaysia and English. This task includes, among others, detecting and proposing corrections to errors in spelling, grammar, term usage and consistency, and content organisation.

Improve the language, flow and readability of the report without losing the meaning of the original text.

To reconcile the data and facts provided in graphs, schedules and other tables.

Ensure the editorial work is completed within the deadlines given by SUHAKAM.


Required skills:

Excellent in written Bahasa Malaysia and English language.

Meticulous and an eye for detail.

Good language skills to make a report interesting and appealing.

Ability to meet tight deadlines.

Ability work on multiple documents simultaneously.

Familiarity with human rights subject is an added advantage.

Jawatan Kosong Terkini 2016 di Suruhanjaya Hak Asasi Manusia Malaysia (SUHAKAM)




Sejarah SUHAKAM

Suruhanjaya Hak Asasi Manusia Malaysia (SUHAKAM) ditubuhkan oleh Parlimen di bawah Akta Suruhanjaya Hak Asasi Manusia Malaysia 1999, Akta 597. Akta tersebut telah diwartakan pada 9 September 1999. Mesyuarat sulung SUHAKAM diadakan pada 24 April 2000.

Usaha menubuhkan sebuah institusi hak asasi manusia pada peringkat nasional di Malaysia bermula dengan penyertaan aktif Malaysia dalam Suruhanjaya Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu bagi Hak Asasi Manusia (United Nations Commission for Human Rights – UNCHR) pada tahun 1993 – 95 apabila Malaysia dilantik sebagai ahli Suruhanjaya tersebut oleh Majlis Ekonomi dan Sosial Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu (PBB). Pada tahun 1995, Malaysia diberi penghormatan apabila ketua perwakilannya, Tan Sri Dato’ Musa bin Hitam dilantik sebagai Pengerusi sesi ke-52 UNCHR. Keanggotaan Malaysia dalam UNCHR dilanjutkan bagi penggal kedua, iaitu dari 1996-1998, dan seterusnya ke penggal ketiga, iaitu dari 2001-2003

Pelbagai sebab telah mendorong Kerajaan Malaysia sehingga akhimya mempertimbangkan penubuhan sebuah institusi kebangsaan hak asasi manusia. Selain penglibatan aktif Malaysia dalam UNCHR. Turut mempengaruhi ialah perhatian antarabangsa terhadap isu hak asasi manusia natijah daripada kejayaan Persidangan Sedunia berhubung Hak Asasi Manusia pada tahun 1993 di Vienna. Kerajaan-kerajaan yang menyertainya, termasuk Malaysia, bersetuju bahawa hak-hak asasi manusia meliputi rangkuman sejagat dan tidak boleh dipisahkan dan mereka juga menyedari peri pentingnya diwujudkan badan hak asasi manusia di peringkat negara masing-masing.

Bangunan Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah (SSAAS) di Shah Alam mula dibina pada tahun 1977. Pembinaan telah dibuat melalui 2 peringkat. Peringkat pertama mengandungi Podium Utara dan peringkat ke 2 mengandungi Podium Selatan serta Blok Menara.

The ECER of Malaysia covers Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang and the district of Mersing in Johor. It occupies an area of 66,000 sq km or 51% of the total area of Peninsular Malaysia.

Five key economic clusters, namely Manufacturing, Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals, Tourism, Agriculture and Human Capital Development will drive the development of ECER in line with the Government Transformation Programme (GTP) and Economic Transformation Programme (ETP).

Sejarah Penubuhan

Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Awam Malaysia telah ditubuhkan pada 31 Ogos 1957, iaitu bersamaan dengan hari Kemerdekaan Tanah Melayu pada ketika itu. Pada awalnya, semasa penjajahan Inggeris, Perkhidmatan Awam Negeri-Negeri Tanah Bersekutu Melayu ketika itu di bawah pentadbiran Inggeris. Kemerdekaan Tanah Melayu pada 31 Ogos 1957 telah dengan sendirinya membentuk pemerintahan baru Persekutuan Tanah Melayu yang merdeka dan berdaulat. Secara Rasmi, Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Awam telah dibentuk sebagaimana termaktub dalam Perkara 144(1) Perlembagaan Persekutuan.

Perkara 144(1) Perlembagaan Persekutuan:- "Tertakluk kepada peruntukan mana-mana undang-undang yang ada dan kepada peruntukan Perlembagaan ini, maka adalah menjadi kewajipan sesuatu Suruhanjaya yang dimaksudkan oleh Bahagian ini melantik, mengesahkan, memasukkan ke dalam perjawatan tetap atau perjawatan berpencen, menaikkan pangkat menukar dan menjalankan kawalan tatatertib ke atas anggota-anggota bagi perkhidmatan-perkhidmatan yang diliputi oleh bidang kuasanya."

Objektif Kualiti

  • Menguruskan keharmonian masyarakat yang diukur di bawah Indeks Ketegangan Masyarakat (IKM) tidak melebihi paras asas (based line) 25 kes per sejuta penduduk.
  • Semua kawasan berada di bawah kod hijau di seluruh negara.
  • Mengurus perhubungan masyarakat yang harmoni di bawah Indeks Perhubungan Masyarakat (IPM) dengan tidak melebihi paras asas (based line) pada 2.2 dari skala 4.0.
  • 80% Rukun Tetangga ditahap aktif di bawah Sistem e-keaktifan RT.
  • Meningkatkan persepsi rasa selamat penduduk di kawasan SRS dan sasaran sebanyak 85%.
  • Menjalankan sekurang-kurangnya 20% naziran ke atas Tabika Perpaduan di setiap negeri dalam setahun dan 70% daripada sampel mencapai 75% markah tahap kualiti yang ditetapkan.
  • Mencapai skor 3.3 daripada skala 5 terhadap kepuasan pelanggan bagi Tabika Perpaduan.

Fungsi:

  • Menguruskan pinjaman untuk tujuan pendidikan tinggi dan mengutip bayaran balik pinjaman;

Sejarah 1956, 1965, 1967, 1996

UiTM nyata lebih segar diingati dengan penubuhannya sebagai Institut Teknologi MARA (ITM) pada tahun 1967. Institut ini merupakan buah hasil para pemimpin Malaysia yang penuh visi, terutamanya bekas Perdana Menteri kedua, Allahyarham Tun Abdul Razak. Sepanjang era beliau sebagai ‘Bapa Pembangunan’, salah satu misi negara memberi fokus terhadap usaha untuk membangunkan taraf sosioekonomi kaum bumiputera di negara ini. Allaryarham Tun Abdul Razak telah meletakkan batu asas pembinaan kampus di atas tanah yang berukuran 300 ekar luasnya di Shah Alam tanggal 14 Oktober 1967. 

Ia merupakan visi Allaryarham Tun untuk menjadikan ITM sebagai katalis bagi menjana kesemua sumber yang ada dan melahirkan serta melipatgandakan jumlah graduan bumiputera yang terlatih dan berkelayakan bukan sahaja dalam bidang sains dan teknologi malah di dalam bidang-bidang lain. Walaupun kini memegang status universiti, ia adalah mustahil untuk melupakan setiap detik permulaan institusi ini. Lakaran sejarah UiTM bertitik tolak pada tahun 1956 dengan tertubuhnya Dewan Latehan RIDA.
